About Book 

A twelve-year-old boy, Billy Doyle, is tangled in a web of horrible circumstances during the Great Depression. His parents then take him to his aunt and uncle in a secluded community in rural Ohio. Billy is showered with love and respect by his new caretakers. Along his journey, he meets an extraordinary man through a divine intervention who teaches him some of the most important life lessons.
